The migration has been completed. A few thoughts to help you out as
your old Outlook settings may no longer be correct.
The new incoming server (POP) name is pop.cotteleer.com
The new outgoing server (SMTP) name is smtp.cotteleer.com
Your username is first and middle initials, last name @cotteleer.com
(mine is cacotteleer@cotteleer.com)
You default password is first and middle initials, last name1 (mine is
cacotteleer1)
You can automatically configure your outlook or outlook express by
logging on to the webmail, selecting "settings" and clicking on "email
configurator", then following the directions. The email configurator
will add a new account to outlook with the correct settings to access
your email account. You should then delete your old account that may
have incorrect settings. No email will be deleted from your inbox in
outlook.
You can change your default password through the webmail facility.
I have set the automatic spam filtering to it "standard" setting. This
means that some, but not all, spam will be eliminated. I can set more
aggressive spam filtering on an account by account basis. Obviously,
the more aggressive the filtering the more likely that a "good" email
will get filtered out. Let me know if you want more aggressive
filtering for your account or the account of one of your kids (Reilly
and Andy both have accounts set up).
