Is exaltron now so desperate that he will put the word "boobies" in the
headline, in hopes that you will open yet another exaltron message? Yes
indeed he is, but lo, this is no bait and switch, for exaltron will
indeed be playing the tastefully named "pussycat lounge" on Friday Sept
22nd, and there will indeed be several fabulous pairs of mammalian
protuberances on full display for your edification and entertainment.
Thus I find myself in the unenviable position of having to compete with
nature's oldest and best distraction, as I am playing upstairs and the,
uh, alternative performance will be downstairs.
More from Lo-fi entertainment promoter Joel Alter:
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 22
HIP HOP NITE!
PUSSYCAT LOUNGE, 96 Greenwich Street at Rector, 2nd Floor, 212-349-4800
$10 admission - 21+ w/ID
For further info: www.lofientertainment.com
Bands Performing:
8pm Blue Stealz (www.myspace.com/bluestealz)
8:30 Exaltron (www.myspace.com/exaltron)
9pm Pat Miscellaneous ( www.myspace.com/patmiscellaneous)
10pm Ayesha (www.myspace.com/ayeshasmusic)
11pm Aquavibe (www.aquavibe.com)
12am Chronikill ( www.chronikill.com)
12:30 Duss Smitty (myspace.com/dusssmitty)
Keep in mind if you have something against boobies and/or their
tantalizing public display, you can opt completely out of their
bosomosity by avoiding the downstairs area completely.
Now back to the hardsell: This is my first gig with this group of
promoters. They have their shit together- they even put out a special
promotional compilation for each show- so I'm hoping to work with them
again in the future. But in order to do so, I have to draw at least 15
people, so if you can make it out that night, I will give a free copy of
my new CD, no strings attached. You can even turn around and sell it
(good luck with that). Seriously though, if you've been thinking of
checking out a show, now is the time. Not only that but I'm performing
with some real cool hip-hop acts, including the elusive Pat
Miscellaneous, whom all my female friends have a cradle-robbing crush
on, so he's obviously very talented.
What else? I know I mentioned the podcast, but now I have this hip new
graphic to advertise it:
(image)[1]
So check that out if you haven't already. I'm working on a new one to
put out next week or so.
And please, for the love of all that is funktastic, come see my show on
the 22nd.
ad gloriam,
exaltron
