Well, you knew it was just a matter of time before the most pretentious improvisational musicborg you know had to sign up to give a "master class". Yeesh, what a frickin' blowhard, who does this guy think he is? For real though, I'm giving a little mini-seminar on using Ableton Live next Tuesday, specifically geared for instrumentalists such as myself using Live as a backup band and looping tool. The talk is called Live Remixing for the Solo Instrumentalist and it will detail my hardware and software setup and all the fancy midi crap that I do on that stuff. Hopefully I will be more articulate when I give the talk. Oh, and naturally I will do a little "show" before I do the "tell". Of course like all Warper parties this will be wall-to-wall electronic hijinks featuring some of the best live remixing the NY metro area has to offer.
