hey exaltron peeps-
How are your loony buns <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA1NoOOoaNw>? Just a
quick transmission to let you know about a potential show I have coming up
(for those of you who like advanced notice) on Sept 18th at Warper. Not
confirmed yet, so don't turn down a chance to see Lynyrd Skynyrd or
anything, but keep it in mind. As always, I will have new material to hurl
at you, plus the usual heedless improv.

What else, what else.. Oh, I did get written up in this blog called Sheena
Beaston <http://sheenabeaston.blogspot.com>, and though I hate to get all
flosstastic on your asses like a thong, I did do a little freak dance when I
read this:
*
**Exaltron blew my mind when I first popped it on. A product enriched with
the philosophy "I remix myself onstage and it feels good", is exactly the
kind of organic fuel to fire anyone's otherwise drab music tastes.

The arrangements roam, the lyrics stray, the instruments are all over the
place, and frankly, we can't get enough of it. It's this sort of melding of
musicalities that makes us excited about the future of music...

*
Ironically, the song they chose to post was this electroskank
remix<http://www.exaltron.com/mp3s/5x5eSk.mp3>from 5x5, as opposed to
the newer, flashier stuff. You can read the entire
piece here, and definitely check out the
blog<http://sheenabeaston.blogspot.com>.
It's been a serious time-sucker for me lately- the posts are consistently
entertaining and the music they post is all over the map in terms of genre.
I seem to discover something cool every time I visit.

So there you have it, I finally have some good press from someone who
actually knows music and is not a member of my immediate family..

ad gloriam,
exaltron
