Hey, how's it going? I am very excited to report (with perhaps slightly
better notice than usual), that I booked a most fortuitous gig at the
fabulous Lucky Cat in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! And on the first day of summer
no less!! Sweat it.
I've been a fan since I checked out Chico
Mann<http://www.myspace.com/chicomann>here a few months ago and have
been harassing them ever since to hook me up.
I will be pulling out all the stops for this one, busting out some new
material and of course the ever-refined improvisational sketches (here's an
example). I go on at 9:00, followed up by the Forreal People Disco
Party<http://www.myspace.com/forealpeople1>at 10 pm. I checked out
their myspace page and I can verify that theirs is a
singularly booty-shaking sound.
That's all, just come on out, I'll buy you a drink and any friends that you
bring too!! Lucky Cat has an amazing Mediterranean
menu<http://www.theluckycat.com/menu.php>and yummy cocktails. If
you're driving, parking is still pretty decent in
Williamsburg (and if you need a navigator you can feel free to pick me up in
Washington Heights with all my gear.. ).
Oh, one more thing, if you haven't checked out the latest track,

I promise it is just the thing to put the refreshing mint kick in your
electro-mojito summer. I know, it sounds dangerous, but give it a try, I
think you'll like it. And if you are a-digging the samba-riffic,
click-clack, swish-a-swish, robo-voice, pointillistic harmonies, you can
download it by clicking File>Save Page As (I know, it's not a page, but your
browser don't know the diff).

Grand St. Turn left on Grand and it's one and a half blocks on your left.
*G - Lorimer / Metropolitan* Turn left on Metropolitan Ave. and walk 4
blocks until Roebling. Turn left on Roebling and then right on Grand St.
*JMZ - Marcy Ave.* (first stop in Brooklyn). Walk under the subway and take
a right on Havermeyer. Walk down Havermeyer until you get to Grand St. Turn
left on Grand and it's one block down on your right.
