I just had a survey done on Knotless (hull 34, 1988) and the report showed
high moisture around the port chainplate only. The surveyor said this was
reasonable given the age of the boat. What you have indicated may be more than
normal and sounds like a lot of deck to rip up if the core is wet. Might ask
your surveyor for a guess on the cost of repairs.
