In case you haven't noticed, Sail Newport posted the registration information for this year's Newport Regatta this past Monday. This is the event we use for the class Nationals. You can register on line - pretty painless.
http://www.sailnewport.org/npt/m/_general/reports.asp?riIDReport=93&CAT=1
I'm signed up now - who else is in?
Any way we can get 10 boats on the line?
If you are not going because of lack of crew, shout. I know some intermediate and novice sailors who might be interested. I have a full crew right now. I also know of one or two advanced crew looking for berths.
See you in Newport in 3 weeks!

My bow light was fine, but the wiring appeared to be lamp cord (untinned
wire) and I could not get the old wiring out. It just kept breaking. This
spring the boatyard ran an exterior wire down the outside of the vertical
tube of the front of the bow pulpit and drilled a new hole through the deck.
It looks a little vulnerable, but no one has broken it yet.

Thanks. I have an external run also. If I can't get the old wire out I'll
try pushing a new one through the other leg and drilling a new hole.
