The tentative dates for the 2007 YRALIS Championship Regatta are July
28-29.  The exact club alignment for this regatta is being worked out
but we are talking about western Long Island Sound.  Is the Frers 33
class looking for a home for its National Championship?  We would be
happy to host such an event (as we anticipate doing for the Soverel 33s)
in conjunction with the YRA regatta.  An even if not a class regatta we
certainly hope Frers 33 owners will choose to join us.

For those not familiar with the YRA regatta it is a multi-fleet,
multi-venue regatta held on western Long Island Sound.  Participation
ranges from IRC to PHRF to larger one-designs (J109s, J105s, Soverel
33s, Beneteau 36.7s) to smaller ODs (Etchells, Shields, IODs) to
dinghies (Lasers, Flying Scots, Vanguard 15s).  The event also features
two very nice post-race parties at one centralized club.
