[frers-list]New Frers33 owner (hopefully)

It's been two years since I solicited the Frers33 list for advice on the cruising capabilities of the Frers33. Thanks  again for all the advice and the generous invitations to come sailing! It's always been a boat I've admired and it looks like I'm finally joining the association- for real. I haven't sold my old boat yet (know anyone who wants an older Sabre 34 for very short money?).

Persistence is being surveyed on Monday (weather permitting). If all goes well, I'll be sailing with you this summer. In addition to all the standard things to be looking for, are there any issues specific to the Frers33 that I should be looking out for for. She's had some deck work around the chainplates. I've also heard about maststep and mast collar issues.. What should I be looking for exactly? 

Also... I'm curious... have any of these boats been taken offshore?

By the way, the boat will be in Padanaram this summer, maybe moving to eastern LIS next year.
