My last email didn't seem to generate a lot of enthusiasm, but maybe it was just too cold to think about sailing.  No, couldn't be!  Anyway....
 
My team is planning to go to NYYC Race Week in Newport to race, whether or not anyone else shows up!   I know Dave N. will be there, how about the rest of you?  NYYC has consolidated the dates so one-design and handicap racing all happens at the same time (7/24-27).  If we don't have at least 5 Frers 33's, we'll have a great PHRF series with solid competition in an outstanding venue with parties on the lawn of the NYYC.  If we get the requisite 5or 6, we'll have a one-design division and our championships. 
 
Either way, there will be some excellent racing.  So, make your plans NOW.  Get the crew psyc'ed up, it's a great team-building event.  No need to worry about having to cancel if the class doesn't show up, there will be a race regardless.
 
Let either Dave Nauber or I know your intentions as early as possible.
