Dear Frers 33 Owners and Crews:

You will all be pleased to see that a Frers 33 won fleet honors in one of
Maine's bigger race events, the Moore Trophy.  The perennial trophy is
awarded to the best corrected time in the PYC Fall Series Lightship Race
held last Saturday, 9/20.  The conditions were Frers 33 "perfect" with an 11
mile beat and 11 mile dead downwind run in sunny breezes that ranged from
9-14kts.   It was a simple straight-on drag race against a range of older
and newer designs proving that these old girls are still pretty fast!!!
