Brilliant would be interested in Branford July 10/11. That gets us part of the way up to Newport.

Also, NYYC Race week is confirmed to be July 17-18 for PHRF, and one designs can extend to the 19th. Brad Dellenbaugh just promised me better weather than last year, so maybe we can hold him to that!

        Hi Rod,

There would be other racing opportunities, the best scenario for which might be NYYC Race Week in Newport, which is likely to be in the 10-14 day window following the Branford/Pine Orchard regatta. We're still planning to use Newport as the venue for a our Frers 33 Nationals, and Branford/Pine Orchard could be a tune up for some and a chance to compete for others who cannot make the Newport commitment.

Can we see a show of hands who might be able to do the Branford/Pine Orchard event in Connecticut?

        Regards,

        Dave Nauber

I own Equinox and am located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I would
consider participating in a Frers 33 one design regatta somewhere in the
area. It is a long way to go and I haven't discussed it with crew yet. For
me Marblehead would be closer but I'm not sure how many Frers 33 we could
get there. Anyway it is a long way off and a long way to go; but, if I was
to go I would try and capture racing over two weekends. Is that something
that interests anyone else? Are there other events planned close to the
July 10 11 weekend. It is probably unrealistic but even if there was another
regatta in close proximity it would make it more attractive.

          Rod
