I thought I would try this one last time but without the attachments. The i=

Thanks for raising the issue Art. I=0A have attached copies of everything y=
ou should need for both Branford and Pine Orchard races. If your email serv=
er strips attachments, you may get this info from www.ecsa.net as Jim Barke=
r says.
I have at Jim's request, attached a copy of the Frers 33 class rules which =
can also be found on the Frers 33 Class website. Ordinarily, PHRF handicaps=
assume you are sailing to your class rules unless it specifically authoriz=
es other changes. For example, like our class rules, ECSA allows you to rem=
ove the V-berth cushions for racing, while Narragansett Bay PHRF allows rem=
oval of all cushions. When we race one design we follow the class rules and=
for PHRF racing, agree to=0A conform to local rules such as with removing =
all the cushions in NB.=A0
Note that when a required item is removed from the boat (such as cushions o=
r the stove) an equal weight must be added in their place/location on the b=
oat. The equal weight cannot be beer, tools, a sail or some other useful it=
em. It has to be unusable added dead weight.=A0
The rules have generally been adopted to allow the boats to be cruised and =
raced with very little work required to shift between the two modes.=A0If t=
here are any questions or concerns about your boat and compliance with the =
rules, let me know. We will not conduct an inspection of boats but expect e=
veryone to be on the honor system.=A0
Good luck and we'll see you in Branford!

Jim,
I went looking for more info about these races, and to sign up, but can fin=
d=20
nothing on either club's web sites, nor the YRALIS calendar.
Where do we get info and sign up?
Thanks,
Art
