Hi Guys,
=A0
I don't see anything on the website with respect to the results of the two =
regattas and the great weekend we all enjoyed at Branford and Pine Orchard.=
=A0 I assume that means that Dave and Wolverine are getting ready for New Y=
ork Race Week and that Art is enjoying Brilliant.
=A0
As the lone Frers 33 owner in Canada I must say it was very exciting and im=
pressive to see 8 Frers 33s on the starting line on Sat and 7 on Sunday.=A0=
To all who participated and to all the Frers 33 owners and crews we met it=
was indeed great to meet you all and we really enjoyed the weekend.=A0 The=
spirit and camaraderie is alive and well in the class as well as the compe=
titive spirit that was likely instrumental in the formation of this excelle=
nt class.
=A0
Thanks to Jim Mormile(More Magic) who suggested the idea and a very special=
thanks to all who made it happen by participating (Wolverine, Nunnehi, Hea=
rtbeat, Brilliant, Impulse, =A0More Magic, Risoluto and Audacious)
=A0
Special thanks to those that allowed the Canuck crew of Equinox aboard your=
boats (Dave on Wolverine , Mark on Nummehi and Scott on Risoluto) to what =
turned out to be a very rewarding and satisfying learning experience for us=
all.=A0 I'm sure we all enjoyed the opportunity to get aboard the other bo=
ats and have a good look around and pick up some tips and tricks.
=A0
It is great to be able to turn email addresses and photos of boats into fac=
es and reality.
=A0
To those of you who thought about participating missed a really great time =
and some competitive one design racing.=A0 Hopefully the opportunity will b=
e there again next year and we can build on this event.
=A0
Thanks to all who participated and to all those who helped turned Jim's vis=
ion into reality.=A0 A sound building block for the class and the Frers 33 =
championship.=A0 look forward to see some photos on the site in the near fu=
ture.
=A0
Regards and Fair Winds and Following Seas for the remainder of the season.
