Hi everyone,
I just wanted to take a minute to acknowledge the Frers 33 owners who have =
paid 2010 dues to support the class association. Dues payments go to mainta=
ining the website and the one design ad in Sailing World. In total, that is=
over $1,000 year. I have personally been covering whatever shortfall we ha=
ve, so your help is greatly appreciated.
2010 Dues have been paid by the following owners:
Frank Albert - RelentlessBob & Sue Connell - HeartbeatJohn & Doug Kilgren -=
AsylumScott Marino - RisolutoPhil & Frances McMann - RagmanNeal Melanson -=
Vapor TrailJim Mormile - More MagicDave & Kathy Nauber - Wolverine
If you have paid and I have not listed you, let me know of=0A my mistake. D=
ues payments are $50 and to save costs, they do not get deposited into a se=
parate account, so please make your check to me personally (NOT the Frers 3=
3 Class Association). My address is:
David Nauber86 Coyote TrailHigganum, CT 06441
A special thanks to Rod Stright for all his work on the tuning guide and to=
Jim Mormile for organizing a one design start for the Branford/Pine Orchar=
d Regattas on July 10/11. It looks like we could have 8 boats on the line t=
hat weekend, so fantastic racing and a chance to compare boats and meet oth=
er Frers 33 owners awaits. If you haven't committed to racing yet, there ar=
e crew available and if you are interested in serving as crew, let us know.=
Some boats might have a few spots yet to fill.=A0
We will have four Frers 33s racing in Off Soundings Spring Regatta this wee=
kend (Watch Hill / Block Island, RI), so a little one design action is star=
ting to percolate. Join us in Branford, CT on July 10/11, then in Newport, =
RI the next weekend (July 17/18) for the NYYC Race Week regatta which is th=
e sanctioned National Championship. We can travel from Branford to Newport =
in a flotilla!
Thanks again to those of you supporting the class with your dues payments. =
I look forward to seeing many of you on shore and on the water this summer.
Regards,
Dave NauberFrers 33 Class AssociationWolverine
