[frers-list]Has anyone used soda-blasting to prep their boat or any components ?

Amidst a refit/refurb of a Frers33 I'm curious if any owners have 
availed themselves of this
process rather than any other abrasive removal of surface coatings and 
if so what, how and
how satisfied are they with the outcome.

Also, what technique, equipment, materials and recommendations can you 
offer ?

I met a gentleman  yesterday who has a number of large older boats that 
are in various stages of recovery
who indicated that he is using soda blasting but he was rushed and I got 
no detail.
