I don't recall if they screw into the plastic or the fiberglass.=A0 I put j=
ust a drop of caulk under each one to seal it but can't recall what it scre=
wed into.=A0 The screws are so small they don't go all the way through.=A0 =
They're only about a 1/4 inch long.=A0 Everyone is going to have to eventua=
lly replace those plastic strainers and if you don't replace the broken one=
s you will clog up the drains with leaves and twigs.=A0 I know that from ex=
perience.=A0 These new stainless covers are the bomb!=A0 I love them.
