Courtney,

The Yanmar 2 GM 20F weighs 251 pounds.=A0=A0At a minimum you are going to n=
eed a hoist and some sort of rig suspended over the open cabin way to hoist=
the engine out of the boat and then move it away from the boat to lower it=
to the ground.=A0 I would honestly say this is work for a yard.=A0 It is j=
ust too complicated and too dangerous.=A0

I have what I guess is the original Yanmar 2GM20F engine and see that the f=
ormer owner recently removed the engine and just set it in place without ac=
tually reinstalling.

I'd like to start from scratch and remove it and check it out entirely befo=
re reinstalling.

Can an individual weighing less than 300 lbs of all muscle remove/reinstall=
it with some ingenuity or is this a boat yard only project ? If yes, how ?

Thanks once more,

Courtney
