1) I am looking to replace the original bladder water tank, with a =
rigid tank, moving it to the starboard side. Does anyone know of a good =
source for a good fitting tank? I would like to have it as far aft and =
low as possible, with a capacity of about 20 =E2=80=93 30 gallons.
2) I=E2=80=99m also in the process of trying to fix/improve the =
holding tank/plumbing set up. Trying to eliminate the potential for =
future odor problems. The current set up is not original. Does anyone =
have the original layout of the tank & plumbing for it? I=E2=80=99ve =
seen the set up on Moose, custom tanks and clean. Only problem =
everything is forward, not exactly where I want the weight.
>From what I have read the air vent from the tank is not suppose to =
exceed 5 to 6 feet. I have removed the macerator pump as it was not =
functioning and inhibited getting to the shut off valve for the seacock, =
and removed the hoses which I could readily get to.
Removing the remaining hoses are going to be a real chore as the tank =
was placed just above the seacock, so it is extremely difficult to =
remove the hose attached to it.=20
My goal is to try to minimize the total amount of hose and above all no =
odor.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ed Putnam
