Bill:

You would need to be sure to find a jib with a clew cut high enough to =
that the sheeting angle reaches your jib track or else put a short wire =
tail on the clew to provide to project the sheeting angle aft. A storm =
jib should have a high cut clew to keep breaking waves from loading up =
the sail, whereas #3s are often deck-sweepers. I'd discuss it with a =
sailmaker first.
