Frers 33s Wolverine, Pachyderm, Black Hawk and Audacious were 1st, 2nd =
3rd and 6th in class C-2 at Spring Off Soundings. And it was close. On =
points it was actually a three way tie for first second and third, and =
Wolverine and Pachyderm each got the gun in one race. What a great =
showing for the class. Congratulations to everyone and especially Dave =
Nauber, who bested us once again for 1st place, although this year the =
Pachyderm and Black Hawk crews kept him on his toes. Off Soundings is a =
great event with great parties and wonderful sailing venues. Since class =
C-2 is practically a Frers 33 event already, it would be great to =
organize even more of us to go. Membership and entry fees are very =
inexpensive and guest entries are excepted for the first year. And there =
is nothing like those long legs sailing side by side with Wolverine and =
Black Hawk to tune up your boat speed. Anyone interested in New London =
to Gardner's Bay this fall? Special incentive, the first three places =
get a penalty added to their rating - Dave is going to have something =
like a 30% penalty, so now's your chance. Anyway, see you all at the =
Branford / Pine Orchard / NAs in July.
