I might add that the =BE inch plywood should not have any voids. Plywood wi=
th all the knots/voids plugged is more expensive, but water will get in bet=
ween the layers when these voids are near the edge. If you use plywood with=
voids, you will be doing the job over again in a couple of years.

A project this summer and one that Rob had on his ToDo list before me is re=
placement of the cabin sole in the main cabin of Persistence. This seems t=
o be 5/8" teak and holly. Locally I can source =BD " teak and holly but th=
ere is no 5/8 without a special order and at twice the cost. Has anybody u=
sed =BD inch? Will it be too thin or creaky for this purpose?
