Removed the fuel tank and it will come out of the starboard locker with 1/8" clearance no more. Also removed the pedestal the base of which was becoming corroded and have it in to get powder coated. While Edson thought it was there system it turns out it was Yacht Specialties which apparently closed down in 1989. My Frers is a 1990. Does anyone have any idea where one can get spares for the system as the Edson parts are not compatible. I don't know if I have = a different pedestal but I replaced the drive-chain and wire assembly = that connects the wheel to the quadrant with parts I bought from Edson. = I haven't noticed any branding on the wheel or pedestal, but let me know = if there is any checking I can do to determine if we have the same = equipment or help you out in any way.
