On Persistence we have Lewmar 43 St winches for primaries.  Lewmar Ocean ST=
40 (new 2015) for secondaries and Lewmar ST30 (new 2014) for cabin top.

When we purchased Persistence the 43 ST were cabin top, there were Lewmar 4=
3 Electric ST in the secondary position and nothing in the primary position=
.  We purchased the ST30 for panel and moved the ST43 to primary position. =
The next year we swapped the electric ST43 for new ST40 for the secondary. =
 All now seem properly sized.  The electric winches were overkill and a rea=
l pain.  Cleaning these winches was almost impossible and they were very st=
iff when not using the electrics and far too powerful when using the electr=
ic capabilities.
