John,

=20

I think I have heard mention of several with dodgers. If I cruised I =
would look to install one since some of our deliveries have been brutal, =
but since all we do is race and the occasional day sail, it would only =
be in the way.

=20

I=E2=80=99d say, if you=E2=80=99ve got it, try it. You=E2=80=99ll =
probably like it. And if not you can always take it off again.

Subject: [frers-list]Dodger Or Not

=20

Since we purchased Moose, we have sailed Narragansett Bay, Vineyard and =
Nantucket Sounds. We have been very happy with this boat.

=20

The boat came with a dodger which has been removed. In all the Frers 33 =
photos, there is only one with a small dodger, =
=E2=80=9Caustral,=E2=80=9D hull 51. It appears that the consensus is no =
dodger is better.

=20

I thought to restore the dodger as the consensus beyond frers33.com =
<http://frers33.com> is that dodgers enhance the sailing experience.

=20

We rarely sail with more than 4 people, and often 2.

=20

Does anyone have experience on their boat with and without the dodger, =
to any comments to offer on why none of the boats have dodgers now?

=20

Thanks.

=20

John Aquino
