Bill, my boat had a 7 gallon Todd tank sitting on a built in platform unde=
r the v-berth on the port side. I was the third or fourth owner.=C2=A0 I re=
placed it with a 13 gal. Todd tank. Had to make a small vee slit in the ope=
ning to wrestle it through to the platform. I put in a new Jabsco Twist n L=
ock toilet. I=C2=A0 have=C2=A0 Y valve to either direct output straight ove=
rboard or into the tank.=C2=A0 The tank can only be pumped through the deck=
fitting.=C2=A0

Hi All- we are going to bite the bullet and replace the septic systems on =
Nereid (ex-AWOL). The current setup is a 14.5 gallon Nauta bladder under th=
e starboard=C2=A0side of the v-Berth. I think we are starting to get some p=
ermeation problems, and the odors are making it hard to cruise.=C2=A0
I wouldn't mind changing the configuration. The current location means long=
hose runs to and from the head and pumpout fitting. It looks like the blad=
der would fit ok under the port side of the v-berth, but I was wondering wh=
at other solutions exist. I have no idea what the original configuration=C2=
=A0was. The PO tried to fit a hard tank under the sink in the head, but rev=
erted to the bladder due to some tank configuration issues.
Any suggestions would be welcome!
