Thanks, Both yours and Dave=92s were the two I think are in down the row in=
the yard, and the stamping on both your props is the same as mine=85?? No=
t sure if they re-stamp once it=92s been adjusted though, the 10P might sim=
ply be where they start from and adjust after that?
5.8 is pretty much the max that I ever reach under motor (and I=92ve calibr=
ated against GPS as well, and confirmed the engine just isn=92t getting me =
faster). Definitely going to send the prop in for a repitch. Engine never=
seems to struggle, just don=92t get the speed, can=92t think of anything e=
lse it could be.

Subject: [frers-list]Propeller Sizing
Brian:
I don=92t have any sizing or pitch information on our 2 blade Martec (which=
is likely one of the ones you checked out in the boatyard), but we cruise =
at 6.2 up to 6.5 in really calm water and no wind. We don=92t fall much bel=
ow 5.8 motoring into the wind until the waves get bigger. I believe I run a=
t a bit below 3200 RPM most of the time. We carefully calibrated our speed =
instrument with the GPS so I=92m confident that the speed numbers are accur=
ate.
