I think that is a question that was asked in several of the initial Frers 33 reviews. Our experience with Persistence I think shows it as well as any
I have updated our web site www.hoytsailing.com with that question. There is a Racer link and a Cruiser link. I think this shows the versatility of these boats as well as it can be told.
When Rod had Equinox here my initial thought would be that the extra cruiser comforts on Persistence would make enough weight difference that Persistence would be noticeably slower than Equinox. This turned out not to be the case as either boat when sailed well would beat the other on any given day. Was a lot of fun having another Frers 33 to race against!
So our cruisy boat with the new paint job has had its web site updated a bit after a long time ignoring the web site. Hope you find the new links amusing
