In 1906 the Woodmen of the = World=20 (an organization that provided health benefits, life insurance and = burial costs=20 while undertaking charitable and recreational activities for children = and=20 adults) bought the church and renamed it Woodmen of the World = Hall.

Since=20 then, promoters have discovered the perfect music venue. One of the best = things=20 about the place is the beautiful hardrock maple =91floating=92 dance=20 floor.

The Lost Dogs love to play the WOW Hall. This year they = are coming=20 to town to benefit a local nonprofit organization, Free=20 People.

Free People takes a number of Sundays a year = at the=20 WOW Hall (mostly during the winter months) to provide a hot meal, = clothing, and=20 entertainment to the homeless folks iin Eugene. The Lost Dogs = participated in=20 one of these events a couple of years ago and have been invited back = again this=20 year.

You may not know this, but the "Dogs" have a heart for the = homeless=20 and it is their vision that one day they would be able to tour from = homeless=20 shelter to homeless shelter, spreading love, hope, and = acceptance.

Coming=20 this December you will have an opportunity to support Free People, to = help them=20 help others. Even if you cannot make it to the concert you can still buy = a=20 ticket. This is definitely a worthwhile cause. All proceeds from ticket = sales=20 are going to Free People.
