Kerosene Halo Tour & NEW Releases
We hope this message finds you well. We'll keep this brief:
Early this month, Kerosene Halo (Michael Roe and Derri Daugherty) released
their Kickstarter supported albums "House On Fire" and "Live Simple" to the
fans that supported their new album campaign in 2015. Michael had this to
say about "House On Fire" ~
After you've made 50 or so albums (not counting the ones we've produced
and/or played on for others), a recording artist can fall into the trap of,
at best, repeating themselves and not growing .... or, at worst, turning in
efforts that are lackluster or just plain bad. Instead, what you -- our
beloved fans and Kickstarter supporters -- have enabled us to do with your
contributions (and patience while we took our time to get everything just
exactly perfect) is to create what we feel might be the very best record we
have ever made in terms of song quality and execution. "House On Fire" is
simply that -- two guys who 'got along' like one with themselves, their
contributing songwriters and studio musicians, and finally, the steps it
took to hang in there to get it right.
We couldn't agree more. Both "House On Fire" and "Live Simple" (the bonus
covers album chosen by fans) are available now on tour, on iTunes, Amazon,
Google Play, and directly from the band on CD/digital here:

Kerosene Halo is also currently on tour through August 7th throughout the
Midwest region of the US. Michael and Derri have been joined by Steve
Hindalong (The Choir/Lost Dogs) and Paul Averitt to present "House On Fire"

There are also several new releases just in time for the tour. The first is
a live album (with studio bonus tracks) called "Gothic" by Michael Roe.
Originally recorded in Denver Colorado in 2001, "Gothic" features Michael
Roe with Dave Beegle and a band, thrown together for an impromptu
performance that ended up rocking the house like a vandal, according to the
Good Doctor. "Gothic" is available online at all the finer digital outlets,
as well as on tour and directly from Michael's own web-store. Check it out:

Not to be outdone by Michael, Derri Daugherty also has a release recorded
special for the tour. Derri's offering is called "Hush Sorrow" and contains
ambient instrumentals and covers of songs that have a lot meaning for Derri
in his current season of life. (Please note, "Hush Sorrow" is NOT Derri's
upcoming Kickstarter album.) Derri's album is also available online at all
the finer digital outlets, as well as on tour and directly from Derri's own

Last, but certainly not least, The Choir and Lost Dogs drummer and lyricist
extraordinaire Steve Hindalong also has a new solo album, "The Warbler"...
Steve had this to say about the album ~ I've enjoyed playing drums and
creating music with my band mates in The Choir, producing albums and
co-writing with wonderful artists and friends for many years. I feel "lucky
and blessed." In fact, that's the title of one of my new songs. I've written
quite a few songs lately and have summoned the courage to sing them out loud
myself. To offer them to the wind, so to speak... from my heart to yours.
