[MaxLite] John Broughton, National Retail Utility Programs Manager

I am very happy to announce that John Broughton will join MaxLite on April
21st in the new position of National Retail Utility Programs Manager.  In
this position, John will be responsible for the overall coordination and
implementation of retail utility programs nationwide.   His primary duties
will be to identify all retail utility opportunities, coordinate the
applications for funding, and manage all dates and deadlines associated with
each program.  He will also be responsible for tracking and reporting the
status of all retail utility program shipments, invoices, and other tasks
required to successful fulfill the requirements of each program.

 

John joins MaxLite from The Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals, and
Energy which serves as the state energy office for the Commonwealth of
Virginia.  As State Energy Program Manager, John assisted in administering
programs that promote energy efficiency and innovative energy technology
opportunities to state agencies.  Prior to that position, John spent 6 years
with D&R International, which serves as a contractor for the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy
(DOE).  While at D&R, John held the position of Associate Program Manager in
which he served as a liaison to both the EPA and DOE in the development of
consumer educational materials promoting the benefits of energy efficiency.

 

John is a graduate of the University of Vermont, School of Natural
Resources, where he received his Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies,
with a minor in Environment Education and Environmental Policy.   

 

John and his family currently reside in Virginia, where John will continue
to work from his home based office.
