[MaxLite] Live network streaming in office

Dear All:

MaxLite's network capacity is 1.54MBps up and down. That means you can send
or receive data (email, web page, etc) at the speed of 1.5Mbps when you are
the only person who is using the network without sharing. We share T1 line
among ourselves, thus the speed of the network you feel may be slower in
reality. Generally speaking, the network capacity in the company, T1, is
about right considering the number of concurrent users.

The problem - slowdown in network speed - occurs when there comes a live
streaming. For example, when you are listening live broadcasting service
from the internet station (good example would be music, news channel which
you can turn on in the background of your computer all the time). It
preemptively takes up certain network bandwidth all the time and eventually
slows down the whole network of the company.

If there's anyone who's using those kinds of service, would it be too much
asking you to turn down your live broadcasting service from now on? Keeping
our network capability healthy is more vital than ever before. It's for you
and for all of us.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

Joon
