Dear Blake,

Great fresh new look! Very professionally done!

Dear All,

Please take a moment to review the updated website. Beside new look and
animated banners notice the search engine built into our site. If you want
to see everything on HighMax for example type HighMax in the search box (top
right corner of the home page) and then you will see a full list all 21
MaxLite site HighMax pages. This should be very helpful in helping you find
all the information you seek from our site. Also notice that we have added
the High Lumen cut sheet to the front page.

TX Greg

Good morning Greg,

Just thought you would like to know that the new Mercury Questions &
Answers animated banner is now live. When you click on it, it will take
you to the new Mercury Questions & Answers page.

In addition to that, the new LightFair 2009 animated banner is now live
as well (it goes to lightfair.com when clicked.) The original idea was
to have the 2 animations set on a delay which would allow the 2nd one to
start playing only after the first one finished (and then the same in
reverse.) I found that this method worked fine for the most part, but
there was a problem. If one of our visitors have a slow internet
connection and one banner is downloaded and displayed before the other,
the timing would get thrown off. This would cause one of the banners to
start playing while the other was still finishing its animation. Because
having both play at the same time is distracting, I think it might be
best to avoid the delay solution.

If you go to our website you can see the new solution I came up with.
With this method, the image will always show "MaxLite LightFair 2009"
and will only play when the user places his mouse over the image (I've
added a line to the bottom of the banner to explain this.) When they do
so, both animations will be playing at the same time but the user will
be focused on the LightFair banner because they would have initiated
playback themselves. As it gets closer to LightFair, we could reverse
the method to apply to the Mercury Q&A banner instead.

What do you think?

Also, I've added the High Lumen Spirals to the Featured Products section
of the front page and on the CFL product page as well.

Sincerely,

Blake Adams
