Dear All,
We will make a new set of model numbers to reflect the new PAR units going
forward. These will have similar specs to the current units with the added
feature of dimming. These will replace the non dimming versions. We will
make a cut sheet to reflect the changes soon. We will send you the new focus
sheet as soon as it is completed. We will post the new focus sheet to the
web shortly. He old focus sheet will be removed as we sell out the old
materials.

Greg/James,
I don't think I got any response from you and therefore I assume you agree
with my thoughts. Therefore I came up with the following new pricing and
feature to announce (I will leave it up to you Greg when to announce to the
public) but please make the new model # so that Steve can place an order
today or tomorrow. At least announce it internally what we are doing with
PAR's in terms of new pricing and new item # and our plan when to retire the
old model:
Dist Net C B
A HOT
PAR20 dimmable $50.00 $45.00 $40.00 $35.00 $27.50
PAR30 dimmable $70.00 $63.00 $56.00 $49.00 $37.00
PAR38 dimmable $80.00 $72.00 $64.00 $56.00 $42.00
As soon as new mode # created and spec sheet ready please let Steve know so
that he can place a new order using new item #'s.
Thanks,
Yon

With new cost I have done some analysis and came up with the following:
New FOB Landed Competition Suggested
HOT price Profit Margin
PAR20 5W $17.91 $18.97 $28.00 (Sylvania)
$27.50 31%
PAR30 10W $21.85 $23.00 $37.50 (Toshiba)
$37.00 37.8%
PAR38 12W $27.90 $29.37 $43.00 (Toshiba)
$42.00 30%
I think this will work price wise. What makes the price so much different
now than before? I assume these are all dimmable as well and will look the
same as before. Unless there are major performance difference I suggest we
simply replace the old model with new model with much lower price tag. Let
me know what you think.
Yon
