[MaxLite] FW: Move to 12 York

To all sorry you should have received this last  Thursday but I had a
problem  with E-mail so here it is:

 

To All MaxLite associates

 

The date of the move has been set for Thursday July 29th, 2010 (pending no
significant construction delays and crazy zoning board rulings 

 

At 12:00 P.M. on the 29th all operations will cease at 80 Little Falls Road
in preparation for the moving company

California will remain open and will ship as a normal  however, since the
server will be down all paperwork and  computer based information will be
off line until Friday. We ask that all WEST orders be submitted  no later
than 11:30 AM ET to have them processed and sent to Rancho for shipping. 

 

Since site mail is handled by an outside server anyone can access their
e-mail  via a computer with internet access  at http://sitemail.maxlite.com

 

Each associate will be responsible for packing their own work area and will
be assigned a specific number and color tag  to be given out on or just
prior to the 29th (you will be instructed on how to mark your items). Boxes
will be made available in the office with tape machine for everyone to use. 

 

We do not anticipate  it taking all afternoon to pack and we need to get the
movers access as early as possible-2:00 PM is the target. If we work
together  and everyone is all  done we will be allowed to leave early and
let them take over.   However  since we are leaving early we ask that
everyone report to 12 York Ave  Friday morning promptly at  7:15 AM to
un-pack and organize their work stations to start receiving customer calls
at 8:30. 

 

In order for us to be up and running faster on Friday  we will not be using
the moving company to transport the computers and therefore we are looking
for a few volunteers to shuttle them over to York Ave  Thursday afternoon.
Getting the PCs there early allows us time to set them up and do some
testing beforehand. If you are willing to help transport them let me or Todd
know.

 

We are anticipating at minimum that  customer service and inside sales  to
be operational on Friday morning of the 30th  .  Shipping operation in NJ
will also start but maybe  a little limited. We are working on some
alternative plans that may make shipping fully functional prior to the 30th
. I will keep you posted  as we work through those details. 

 

Other areas of the office will come on line later in the day and some may
individuals may be displaced temporarily however every effort is being made
to get you in your new home as quickly as possible. 

 

As we get closer and as changes occur I will let everyone know. If you have
any questions about the actual packing of your desk please touch base with
Ted or Anna they are the move Captains. Any other questions about the move
catch me when you see me or call my cell.
