[MaxLite] Monthly Product Training Attendance

Dear Sales et al,

 

As you know we started this year with a commitment to keep the inside staff
and outside reps trained and tuned into all the fast paced changes in our
product line. A moment to speak about each group;

 

Reps- Jan we had 11 participants, Feb we had 30. I think we would have had
more except for an issue with more than 25 people joining the meeting at
once. I assure you that this limitation will be lifted before our March
session. I also want to share some problems we had getting out the invites
to almost 400 reps email addresses. We sent invites for each day via outlook
and WebEx so that is 4 times. We sent the invite twice, once a week before
and again the day before. So 8 times the invite went out one way or another.
With that I received comments back that once was enough from about half the
reps and requests to send it again from the other half. Going forward I will
send only two, one a week before and again the day before. Each will have
100% of the information about the dates, times and log on info. Anyone who
needs additional invites will get them. A side note- a got a lot of calls
and emails afterwards with good feedback about the session. 

 

ISS- Both months we had 100% attendance but this month they were much more
engaged. They asked questions and contributed, I am sure there understanding
of the topics we covered has grown substantially.

 

CSRs- Both months 100% attendance and like ISS they were much more engaged.
Besides the presentations we shared with the reps the ISS and CSRs are going
through an intermediate level "lighting school". These folks are going at a
pretty good rate and I am sure that in the next few months these folks will
have as solid understanding and knowledge of our industry on par with most
distributors. 

 

Marketing and Tele-Marketing- Management has asked that we expand the
monthly sessions to include the marketing staff and the telemarketing staff,
they will be invited starting March. The goal is simple- to have the most
knowledgeable staff in the industry!

 

The summary below will be updated and sent to you following the Thursday
session each month along with the details of the reps who logged in. Also
attached is the list of reps the invite was sent to.
