Dear MaxLite Employees,

 

Recently, we have learned that a competitor may have obtained some of our
internal confidential information without authorization and used such
information to our detriment.

 

Each of us have access to and use information in the course of our work and
much of it is confidential and has value to MaxLite and its competitors.
The success of our work and of MaxLite depends on maintaining the
confidentiality of such information.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all MaxLite employees that
each of us must maintain the confidentiality of all confidential
information, MaxLite's current policy requires that confidential information
be kept in secure places, access to which be restricted to those with a need
to know, and any knowledge of unauthorized disclosure or use be reported to
the Company.

 

In addition, each of us is subject to various laws designed to protect trade
secrets and proprietary information of MaxLite and has agree to be bound by
the Proprietary Information Agreement.

 

As the maintenance of the confidentiality of such sensitive, confidential
information is essential to the continued success of MaxLite and all of us
as employees, MaxLite will take all measures it deems necessary or desirable
to protect the confidential information.  Anyone who breaches MaxLite's
policy and the obligation relating to the confidential information will be
prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
