[MaxLite] Wishes

Dear MaxLite Overseas Staff,

 

You may have seen the horrifying pictures and videos of devastation that
Hurricane Sandy has brought to us in NJ.  Cora from Shanghai has sent us
wishing well message below.  Thank you for concern and support all the way
across the Pacific.  Taking this opportunity I wanted to share with you the
situation here in NJ. 

 

Yes indeed Hurricane Sandy was devastating to all of us in NJ and many of us
do not have electricity at home yet.  This means we don't have heat, no hot
water, etc. for the last several days but the situation is getting better
day by day.  The bright side of all of this is that no MaxLite family seemed
to be hurt by the storm and we showed our resilience through hardship like
this by showing up at work yesterday as soon as we know power is restored at
the office.  We lost several days of work and we are busy catching up now
with our lost work days.  We still have challenges like having very limited
gas, which makes our driving to work extremely challenging but it looks like
we will have this situation rectified in the next couple of days also.

 

Despite the Hurricane Sandy's destruction and the resulting lost sales for
the last few days of the month, I am proud to say that we had a record
monthly sales of well over $4M in October.  Again we appreciate your hard
work and support from all the way across the Pacific.  All MaxLite employees
are united and drive for the same goal no matter where we are.  Keep up the
good work and keep trying your best.
