The Town's tree branch pickup program (first and third Mondays through =
November) can not accommodate stumps (the dirt dulls the blades, pebbles =
chip the blades). Residents (contractors have to dispose of their =
material on their own) can now drop off the stumps as part of the yard =
waste program. There is a special place for the stumps-next to the small =
Green Valley Dumpster west of the pile of black coal slag. Look for the =
sign. Do not throw stumps or any woody material into the large roll off =
yard waste dumpsters.
