The Town Board at the recommendation of the Park Commission has approved =
the palcement of porta-potties (with a screening shelter built around =
them to be placed in 5 parks. Those parks are Pope Farm Park ( off of =
the higher parking lot that is in the porcess of being built), Voss =
Park, Cherrywood Acres Park, Settler's Prairie Park and Hickory Woods =
Park.
The porta potties will be installed and serviced this year with money =
from the Park Development Fund. Future servicing costs will be an =
expense to the Town's General Operating Fund.
The first screen has been built at Voss Park. The second one will be =
installed in Cherrywood Acres Park this week. The toilets will be =
installed as soon as possible.
I need to select locations at Hickory Woods Park and Settler's Prairie =
Park.
Anyone wishing to have input into the location of the porta-potties may =
meet with me on site on Saturday, April 30. At 10:00 a.m, I will be at =
Settler's Prairie Park (meet at the west parking lot at the gravel =
trail). At 11:00 a.m., I will be at the shelter at Hickory Woods Park.
