The new Tax Assessments are now available!
Most assessments in the Town have not changed. If you made changes to
your property that have changed its value, you should have received a
letter (mailed 4/17) from our Assessor indicating the change in value.
If you wish to check a current assessment, those figures, including
changes for 2008, are available on Dane County's website
<http://accessdane.co.dane.wi.us/html/TaxPaymentHistory.asp?ParcelNumber
=3D070804341950> . You may also come by the Town Hall to look at the
assessment book during normal business hours (M-Th, 8:30-4:00; F,
8:30-Noon).
If you feel that your assessment is incorrect and does not accurately
reflect the value of your house and/or lot, please address these
concerns with the assessor at Open Book which will take place at the
Town Hall on May 1st from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. Appointments are preferred;
please call 712-2847. If you have other questions, call the Town Hall
(833-5887).=20
