Starting the week of July 7th, Scott =
Construction
will be seal coating & chip sealing various roads throughout the
Town. Depending on the weather, this should take approximately two =
weeks
to complete. Please avoid these roads while the work is being =
performed
and drive with caution and at slower speeds until the road has =
set. We
apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your =
cooperation.

Pioneer Road near the Town Hall is =
unofficially
open. The road was paved last week, but the shoulders will not be
completed for another two weeks for the road to set firmly. The =
Town is
requesting that people still use the detour until the shoulder work is
complete. The “Road Closed” signs will still remain up =
until
the shoulders are completed.
If you must use =
Pioneer
Road, please drive =
with
caution. There is a steep drop-off on the edges because the =
shoulders are
not in place and there is still a large amount of trucks traveling in =
and out
because of the construction of the new Fire =
Station.

The Commission makes recommendations to the Town Board regarding
recreation programs and park and trail regulation, development and =
maintenance.
The Park Commission meets once a month usually on the second Monday of =
each
month at 6:30 p.m.
Commission members will interview candidates and the Commission =
will
recommend candidates, to the Town Chair, for appointment to a 7-year =
terms.
Members =
receive $40
per meeting.

The City of Madison will be closing Old Sauk Road =
east of Town,
from Cricket to Prairie Smoke, starting August 18 and going through the =
middle
of October.
