burn the prairie planting at West Middleton Elementary School at 1pm.
The Noll Valley Oak Savanna conservancy remnant will be burned starting
at 3pm.

The assessment roll is currently available for review in the Town Office
during business hours. Open Book is your opportunity to review your
assessment and other assessments within the Town. It is also your
opportunity to discuss your assessment with the Assessor if you feel it
is incorrect. While reviewing the listing, keep in mind that the last
evaluation took place as of January 1, 2006. All assessments listed are
for what the current property would have been worth at that time, and in
the condition it was in, as of January 1, 2009. Open Book will be held
on April 29, from 6-8 pm. It is best to call ahead and schedule an
appointment with the Assessor. Appointments can be made by calling

Madison WI, April 24, 2009 - The Clean Sweep Program for recycling
household hazardous waste will open its 2009 season on Friday, May 1st,

* Normal hours of operation are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays
and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. =20
* The site is located on 2302 Fish Hatchery Road in Madison, on
the corner of Fish Hatchery and Badger Roads. =20
* The last day of the season will be Saturday, October 31st 2009.
* Please remember that leaving materials at the site when it is
closed is illegal and can lead to a $2000 forfeiture.

The Clean Sweep Program provides an opportunity for residents of Dane
County to safely dispose of household hazardous materials, free of
charge. The Product Exchange offers high quality and usable products
brought into Clean Sweep free of charge.

Bulk Pick Up Next Week
Just a reminder that bulk pickup will occur next week on your regular
trash day. Please remember that you can not place appliances that
contain freon or other hazardous liquids like gasoline, out for pickup.
If you have specific questions concerning what is acceptable for bulk
pickup, please contact Green Valley Disposal directly at 251-7878.
