Open Book & Board of Review

The assessment roll is currently available for review in the Town Office
during business hours. Open Book is your opportunity to review your
assessment and other assessments within the Town. It is also your
opportunity to discuss your assessment with the Assessor if you feel it
is incorrect. While reviewing the listing, keep in mind that the last
evaluation took place as of January 1, 2006. All assessments listed are
for what the current property would have been worth at that time, and in
the condition it was in, as of January 1, 2009. Open Book will be held
on April 29, from 6-8 pm. It is best to call ahead and schedule an
appointment with the Assessor. Appointments can be made by calling

If, after speaking to the assessor, you still feel your assessment is
incorrect, you may schedule a meeting in front of the Board of Review.
The Board of Review is made up of the Town Board. At the Board of
Review, they will hear you arguments as to why you feel your assessment
or others should be changed. To get more information on this, please
visit the Wisconsin Department of Revenue website www.revenue.wi.gov
