This is a reminder that it is against Town Ordinances =
to place
orange snow markers along the road right-of-way. The snow plows =
must be
able to clear not only the road of snow, but also at least 3’ of =
the shoulders
to prevent blowing and drifting. If you have placed the markers =
along the
roadside, Town staff request that you remove them as soon as =
possible. The
Town is not liable for any damage done to objects placed in the road
right-of-way.
Thank you for your =
cooperation.

Green Valley has just announced that they plan to =
pick-up

Road)
tomorrow as normally scheduled, but will be running 1 =BD hours late.=A0 =

We =
have been
informed by Green Valley Disposal that garbage/recycling pickup will be =
a day
delayed this week. If your garbage/recycling was to be picked up =
yesterday, it
will be picked up today. If your garbage/recycling was to be =
picked up today,
your pickup will be tomorrow instead. These changes are due to the =
fact that
Green Valley had to pull drivers off the roads yesterday as it was too
dangerous for them to continue with pickups.
If =
you have
any other questions concerning garbage or recycling please call Green =
Valley
Disposal directly at 251-7878.
Thank you for
your patience.

During this time of the year, culverts and tall snow =
banks
at the sides of the roads are very inviting to small children. =
This can
pose to be a very dangerous situation especially when the snowplow =
trucks are
out. Please remind children not to play in or near culverts and =
not to
climb, dig tunnels or sled on the snow banks near the edge of the =
road. Within
the next week, the plows will be out again to further push back the snow =
banks
along the roadsides. Thank you for your =
cooperation.
