The Town of Middleton Park Commission and Town Board are requesting
proposals to create an analysis tool that the Town can use to estimate
future maintenance costs of Town parks, trails and conservancy areas.
This forecasting tool shall be compatible with existing Town of
Middleton licensed software, such as Microsoft Office Excel 2007, or
other readily available commercial software.  Town staff shall be
trained in the use of this tool including initial orientation and
instruction on future data input and analysis.

The goal in requesting these proposals is to obtain accurate dollar
figures for future budgets.  Services cover mowing, trimming, mulching,
spraying for pests and weeds, aerating, fertilizing, litter control,
graffiti eradication, and restroom and facility cleaning.  Also, to be
included are playground maintenance, repair and installation; minor
facility repair such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and masonry and
other work as may be determined.  Forestry operation includes trimming,
removal or spraying in order to maintain healthy trees and shrubbery on
park and recreation property. =20

Town Staff will be available to provide records and documentation as to
prior years' expenses. All work shall be completed within six weeks
from award of contract. The parties interested in performing such
services should submit a proposal and cost estimate to the Town at 7555
