In 1995, Charles Patterson was convicted of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of
a Child.  Patterson will be released at the end of June and located in
the Town of Middleton.  In 1995, Patterson was convicted of 1st Degree
Sexual Assault of a Child.  His victims are both male and female and
were between the ages of 3 and 16.  In 1998, Patterson was civilly
committed under Wisconsin Chapter 980.  He was recently granted a
conditional release in which he will reside in the 7200 block of West
Mineral Point Road (east of Bear Claw / South Point). =20

Dane County Sheriff will hold a community notification meeting on
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Town of Middleton
Town Hall, 7555 W. Old Sauk Road, Verona, WI.  Members of the Wisconsin
Department of Corrections, Wisconsin Department of Health & Family
Services and the Dane County Sheriff's Office will provide information
on Patterson, the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry, and Protective
Behaviors.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

The Town of Middleton has not been a part of the decision to place Mr.
Patterson here.  If you have questions, please attend the meeting.  For
immediate concerns that cannot wait until Tuesday, Please contact
