With additional discussions with Centurion personnel and participants,
the Town wants residents to know that the start of the 50 and 100 mile
races on Sunday morning may result in a 10 to 20 minute delay in getting
onto Airport road. While not officially closed, the volume of bikes and
the right of way on for vehicles already on this main roadway (the
bicyclers) may cause longer waits for access to this artery.=20

The race start for the 50 and 100 mile races is scheduled for 7:00 AM, a
relatively low traffic volume time. However, last year the race was
delayed for two hours due to severe weather in the area. We hope a
repeat of the weather will not occur, but want residents to allow extra
time as they make travel arrangements this coming weekend.
