Hello,
This is a reminder that the =
Town of
Middleton is looking for a resident to volunteer to serve as a citizen =
member
of the Middleton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Commission. This =
is a
three-year term and the Commission meets quarterly. The Commission =
makes
recommendations to the Middleton City Council for the annual budget, =
standards
of care and general policies. It consists of the District's =
medical
director, one representative of each of the City of Middleton, the Towns =
of
Middleton and Springfield, two citizens, and one EMT. =
Middleton EMS is the exclusive 911 advanced life =
support
ambulance provider for a designated geographical response territory that
includes the entire City of Middleton, Town of Middleton, and a portion =
of the
Town of Springfield. The latest resident population estimate for =
this
area is 23,000 persons.
Middleton EMS operates two identically equipped 2009 =
Braun
Type III ambulances and responds from its new station located at 2020 =
Parmenter
St. Middleton EMS staffs both ambulances full-time at the career
paramedic level. Middleton EMS provides a wide-range of =
pre-hospital
services including advanced life support, basic life support, community
education courses and more.

February 15th primary election. Anyone wishing to vote
absentee can stop by the Town Hall during our office hours =
Monday-Thursday
8am-4pm and Fridays 8am-Noon. You may also download an Absentee =
Ballot
