This fall and winter, the Town and/or a contractor is removing invasive
brush and mowing firebreaks within Goth Conservancy. The purpose of the
brush removal is to restore and maintain the native plant communities
and wildlife habitat within the conservancy. '

=20

Additionally, the Town and/or contractor will be mowing firebreaks in
preparation for controlled burns to be conducted within the conservancy
in spring 2012. The firebreaks are temporary and are not to be used as
trails by park visitors.=20

=20

Please respect park neighbors and wildlife and stay on established and
marked mowed or wood chip trails during visits to Goth Conservancy.
